Project information:

This project is part of the development of a general standardized exam for Icelandic according to the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The University of Iceland will use your audio recorded speech for research purposes. Transcripts of the recordings may be published anonymously in a scrambled format as part of a learner corpus for Icelandic. This corpus aims to support the creation of better learning materials and teaching methods for Icelandic as a second language, as well as the development of correction software that provides automated language assistance. Please note that your knowledge or opinions on the topics of the assignments will not be evaluated, only your language skills.
